A Progressive Inspection Program is ideal for any aircraft owner or operator that is flying more than 400 hours per year in their Cirrus Design; you do not even need to be a commercial operator to be on the program. Although Cirrus Design has developed a Progressive Inspection Program you still need to submit some paperwork to your local FSDO in order to get the plane approved to be on a Progressive Inspection Program. For $99 you can purchase a Progressive Inspection Procedures Document that is required to be submitted at time of request to add the aircraft onto the program, and is not provided by the manufacturer. Contact your local service center or maintenance provider to also fill out the Letter of Request that must also be submitted to the FSDO.
